The Coast’s Best of Food reader poll is out.
The survey covers the Metro area food scene. Congratulations to the restaurants and chefs in Halifax who belong to Slow Food. They cleaned up!
Best Chef - Dennis Johnston (fid)
(1st runner up) - Craig Flinn (Chives)
Best Restaurant - Jane’s on the Common (owner Jane Wright and chef Paolo Colbertaldo)
1st runner up - The Wooden Monkey (owner Lil MacPherson)
2nd runner up - Chives Canadian Bistro (owner/chef Craig Flinn)
And, these restaurants also showed well in many of the individual categories.
